Anti-Wrinkle Treatments,
softly done
Softening the lines that come from years of expression — prescribed and administered in person by our nurse prescriber, with your movement kept, not frozen.
We soften lines —
we never erase you
Anti-wrinkle treatments are among the most established treatments in aesthetic medicine, and for good reason: done well, they give natural-looking results with virtually no downtime. Our emphasis is always on softening, not erasing — refreshed, and unmistakably you.
The treatment uses a highly purified, prescription-only medicine, placed in tiny, precise amounts into specific facial muscles. By gently easing the activity of those muscles, the lines above them are allowed to relax.
Because it is a prescription-only medicine, every treatment follows a consultation and an individual prescribing decision — made in person by our registered nurse prescriber.
“Our approach is always conservative and natural. We would rather you came back for a little more than left looking over-treated — the best results are the ones nobody can quite put their finger on.”
Charlotte · Lead Aesthetics NurseRelaxing the muscle,
not the feeling
Many lines on the upper face — across the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes — come from years of repeated expression. Every frown, squint or raised eyebrow contracts the muscle and, over time, creases the skin above it.
Anti-wrinkle treatment works by temporarily interrupting the nerve signal that tells the muscle to contract. The muscle settles, the skin above it smooths, and the effect is entirely temporary — the signal returns gradually over three to four months, and movement fully recovers. Nothing is permanent.
It doesn’t change sensation in your skin — you’ll feel everything normally. It only eases the specific movement in the muscles we treat.
Common treatment areas
Treatment is always tailored to your own facial anatomy and goals. The upper face is where expression lines show most, but the technique reaches further.

Your appointment
Preparation
Come with a clean face where you can. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours, and aspirin or ibuprofen for 48 if you’re able — both raise the chance of bruising. Eat beforehand.
Consultation & assessment
We review your concerns and medical history and assess your muscle strength, symmetry and movement. We’ll show you on a mirror what we’d recommend and explain the dose. You’re under no obligation to proceed.
The treatment
Using a very fine needle, small precise amounts are placed into the targeted muscles. Most describe only a brief, mild sting. A standard three-area treatment usually takes around ten minutes.
Immediately after
You can return to most normal activities straight away. Small red dots or minor swelling settle within an hour or two. We go through your aftercare before you leave.
The two-week review
A complimentary follow-up comes with every treatment — to assess your results together and make any small adjustments. It’s part of what makes nurse-led care different.
When you’ll see it
No visible change yet. Possible minor redness or tiny bumps at the treated areas, settling within hours.
Muscle movement begins to ease. You may notice some expressions are harder to make — this is the treatment working.
Full effect visible, lines noticeably softened. Two-week review to assess results and make any fine adjustments.
The effect gradually wears off as nerve signals return. Most clients rebook around now to maintain their results.
The first 24 hours
Stay upright for 4 hours
Don’t lie down or lean forward for at least four hours, to keep the product where it’s placed.
Don’t rub or massage
Avoid touching, rubbing or massaging the treated areas for 24 hours.
Skip vigorous exercise
No intense exercise, saunas or steam rooms for 24 hours — heat increases bruising risk.
Avoid alcohol
None for 24 hours after treatment — it dilates blood vessels and increases bruising.
No other facial treatments
Leave other facials, including microneedling, for at least two weeks.
Move your face normally
Gentle expressions in the hours after treatment are fine — you don’t need to hold your face still.

This treatment is
never on offer
Anti-wrinkle treatment is a prescription-only medicine. That’s why you’ll never see it discounted, bundled into a membership, or swept into a seasonal offer here — and why we don’t market it by brand name. A prescription follows an individual consultation and a prescribing decision made in person, every time, with no pressure to proceed. We think that’s exactly how it should be.
