Hot Stone Massage in Rainham | Nurse-Led | Amber Grove
Massage · Hot Stone

Deep warmth,
slowly melting in.

Warmed basalt stones and slow, flowing strokes — a deep, grounding heat that eases everyday tension and leaves the whole body settled.

Smooth basalt stones, warmed to a comfortable heat, rest on and glide over the body while we work in slow, flowing strokes. The warmth does much of the work — it’s one of the most soothing, grounding treatments we offer.

It’s pure restorative comfort: a proper hour of warmth and calm. We test every stone’s temperature and never work over broken or numb skin, so all you have to do is settle in.

It’s carried out by Charlotte, our Lead Aesthetics Nurse, so there’s careful clinical judgement behind the simple pleasure of it.

A word from us

Simple warmth, done safely.

Hot stone is one of the loveliest ways to unwind — and because heat is involved, we take a moment to check it’s right for you first. Every stone is temperature-tested, nothing goes over broken or numb skin, and if it isn’t the right treatment for you, we’ll say so and offer something that is.

Good questions

Before you book.

How hot are the stones?
Comfortably warm, and always temperature-tested before they touch your skin. Tell us how it feels and we’ll adjust — it should never be too much.
Is it safe for me?
We check at consultation. Some conditions — reduced sensation, diabetes, circulatory or heart issues, certain blood-pressure problems — mean it isn’t suitable, and we’ll suggest a gentler alternative.
What will I feel?
Deep, soothing warmth and slow, flowing strokes. Most people find it wonderfully relaxing and a little dozy afterwards.
Can I have it regularly?
Absolutely — it’s a lovely standing treat, and the Grove Sanctuary makes a regular rhythm easy.
